STEP 1: WE LISTEN

At Basement Masters Inc, we understand that finishing a basement can be overwhelming. With numerous decisions to make and various product and finish options available, the process can feel stressful and confusing. However, we are here to guide you every step of the way. We take the time to comprehend your vision for the space, create a customized design that caters to your needs, and educate you on the precise steps we will take to ensure a job well done. The best part? We offer these initial services at no charge (steps 1 through 3 below), and you are under no obligation to proceed until you are completely ready. We prioritize your peace of mind and satisfaction throughout the entire basement finishing journey.

STEP 2: WE ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

We’ll ask you a number of questions after you’ve finished the first step and viewed the space to help us understand your preferences in terms of design, the goals of the project, your spending limit, and the intended usage of the area. For instance, it is insufficient to only know that you intend to install a pool table in a recreation area. We also need to know if the pool table can also be used for ping pong, in which case you shouldn’t put in an overhead pool table light. Understanding that you wish to complete the guest room and bathroom for your parents is insufficient. For instance, we’ll need to know if they require wheelchair access to the bathroom and bedroom.

STEP 3: WE VALIDATE OUR UNDERSTANDING AND SUGGEST ALTERNATIVES

We will create a written proposal and an accompanying floorplan following a meeting with you in your house during which we will ask you a number of in-depth questions about your project. The project’s scope of work, design specifics, product selection allowances, and the project’s overall fixed cost will all be described in this proposal. To ensure that we accurately accounted for all of your requirements, we will personally go through the proposal with you. By taking this action, we hope to make sure you fully comprehend the idea, get your comments, and address any issues you might have.

STEP 4: WE DELIVER

When you decide to proceed with your project, we’ll execute a contract and set a date for the work. The contract will include a more thorough description of the work, your obligations (such as clearing the area for work), a timetable of tasks and related payments, etc. We’ll be there for you every step of the way once the project starts. We’ll meet and speak with you frequently to go over completed work and go over the specifics of work that hasn’t yet begun. We’ll provide you with thorough guidance and address any of your inquiries. We’ll perform a formal walk-through as the project nears completion to develop a thorough punch list of items needed to consider the project 100% complete. We’ll keep track of this list and
